A unique way to experience the essence of terroir champagne is to come and taste in the region. A wine often tastes better when tasted in the place where it comes from – that is why I put together a few options to make this experience as unique and tailor-made as possible.
Terroir Champagne brunch in between the vines
For a mere €75 you can purchase a terroir inspired Champagne picnic brunch for 2 in an organic vineyard. The brunch consists of local products such as Paté Croute, jambon de Reims, lentillons de Champagne, few local cheeses and of course a couple of glasses of Terroir Champagne. Before or after the brunch we can have a walk through the vineyards where I can point out the main principles of organic growing and show you how it differs from conventional growers.
Guided Champagne Tasting for 2
€150 buys you a guided private tasting of 4 different Terroir Champagnes for two people in Reims. Together we will explore the characteristics of the different sub regions, grape varieties and grape growing and wine making techniques of 4 different Terroir Champagne producers.
Champagne day trip for 2
If you have a day to spare in our beautiful region and you would like to have me as your guide, you can book a guided day trip for €300. The trip will be tailored to your needs, so it is best to contact me before booking and book once we have agreed on the details. You will need to have your own transport, and tasting fees and lunch are not included. The fee includes making the appointments and planning the day for you, as well as accompanying you on your visits and provide you with plenty of extra information. For extra people please add €100 per person.
I also offer other tailor-made travel itineraries and guided tours. Please email me at caroline at terroir champagne dot com for more info or bookings.
